Hi :) I'm Su, a Berlin-based designer and animator from Istanbul, with a background in engineering and art research. After completing a degree in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen, I pursued a Master of Arts in Design and Computation at UdK Berlin.

I create hand-drawn animations and illustrations for brands like Deta and Gibbon Slacklines. Alongside this, my engineering background influences my approach to design, where I worked mainly on technical origami patterns in folding mechanisms for robotics and the motion possibilities on 4D textiles.

My master's thesis research revolved around the digital reinterpretation of Iznik tile motifs as a way to contribute to cultural heritage revitalisation. I'm deeply interested in how cultural influences can shape the arts, and how digital tools can reimagine traditional forms.

I love creating characters and new worlds through my drawings. Whether through animations, illustrations, or research projects, I aim to tell stories that are as visually engaging as they are thought-provoking.
