Von Ton zu Ton is a collaborative project with Sebastian Paintner, Emma Sokoll, and Felix Niemeyer, exploring the connection between sound, shape, and color. Using augmented reality (AR), users shape objects through finger motions, with each transformation influencing the sound they produce creating a symphonic AR orchestra where visuals and audio interact dynamically. Inspired by synesthesia, the natural merging of senses, the project experiments with intuitive and analytical mappings of form and sound. By blending creativity and technology, Von Ton zu Ton invites users to experience the interplay of aesthetics and music in an immersive, interactive way.
